The presentation is fantastic! Both Sawyer and Sale were engaging and relatable. I loved the 5 "secrets" to becoming a better writer and I am glad my students were taking notes so we can refer back to those things in class. My favorite quote from the presentation was: "What you spend your time doing is what you will become". I've pondered on that several times since the presentation.
- Shayla Taylor, English Teacher, Higley High School
I loved that the presentation had the 5 writing secrets. The secrets were very easy for the students to relate to. The secrets were also things we as teachers use in our classroom. The presentation was very engaging and had the perfect balance of information and excitement. The students really enjoyed asking questions and getting autographs.
- Sara Casamento, Teacher, Centennial Elementary School
Wonderful presentation about writing and never giving up on your dreams! We really enjoyed having Ms. Sawyer and Mr. Sale come and talk to our students. Students are giving up their recess to come and get in some extra reading time with The Successor and starting books of their own. We look forward to book 3 and having Ms. Sawyer and Mr. Sale come back. Thank you!
- Marissa Peralta, Librarian, Peralta Trail Elementary School
The presentation was great! All students were engaged. Naomi really touched one of my students. She responded to her email right away.

Pleasure to work with the two of you and I enjoyed both of your stories and your book. I liked the transitions of both of you speaking (back and forth). I know of a particular student you inspired to start writing. Our students were engaged during the presentation. Thank you for your visit!
